Time To Get That Hospital Bag Ready
When you know that baby will be on it’s way quite soon, yet the last few weeks of pregnancy can still feel like an eternity, it is so important to use that time to get your hospital bag ready. Start gathering essential items that you will need from the 30th week, with the aim of having a hospital bag ready to go by the 36th week. Never fear-we are here to help. Here is a hospital bag checklist for you.
You may want to pack two bags, one smaller one with items that you want during labour, and a bigger one for the remainder of your hospital stay. If you feel over-loaded with stuff, why not keep some at home, and ask your partner, friends or family to drop in the remainder to you after labour. That way, you won’t feel like you are organising a suitcase for a two week sun holiday… we wish! Either way, it should help you to feel closer to the big day, and hopefully more relaxed also, as you will be prepared in this sense.
