Now that your bestie is pregnant and that exciting news has come in, it’s time for the next most important part towards her journey to motherhood! Drum rolls and that is…planning a Baby Shower & figuring out how you want the baby shower decorations. And how you want the party to look and feel!
We’ve covered a checklist of items you may need on D – Day here previously.
Baby Shower Decorations
But today, we’re talking about Baby Shower Decorations! Looking at all the Baby Shower inspiration on the Gram or on Pinterest can honestly get pretty overwhelming. We’re here to simplify your decision making and make your Baby Shower as relaxed as it can be. You can incorporate your Baby Shower theme into your decor too.
Our favourite easy to set up but gorgeous decorations include –
- A Donut Wall
Donut Walls are easily the most popular item to have on the Baby Shower. What’s not to love about a wall full of scrumptious donuts anyway? ? They are easy to use and double up as a cute photo booth! You can also set up donuts to match the gender of the baby to add a subtle touch of pink or blue. If you’re considering a unicorn themed party – you can have some unicorn donuts on your donut wall too.
- Baby Balloon Boxes
Baby Balloon Boxes are a perfect last minute addition to your best friends’ Baby Shower Decor. They come ready to assemble and look incredibly cute when built. They literally take 5 minutes to put together but the impact is huge and the blocks measure 4 feet in total when built. This is an easy win for a great baby shower decoration.
- Balloon Arches
Having a Balloon Arch is one of the best items you could bring in to decorate the space. They add height to your location while looking chique. They look stunning as backdrops in photos. If there is JUST one item we had to suggest you should get – it would be a Balloon Arch.
- Table decorations
Decorating your table with Table Clothes, Cups and Plates add just that *special* touch of perfection to the party. The table is where everyone gathers to enjoy their food and drinks and making the setup look pretty and put together elevates the entire party experience. Table decorations are great fun for the baby shower.
Banners are an easy way to spruce up your party decorations. You can get them custom made to include the date, baby name etc. Or there are loads that are pre-made and very funny. Like a hip-hip-hooray banner! They take up loads of space on a wall and so are another easy win for decorating for a shower.
While you decorate, remember to enjoy these moments. The good, bad, frustrating or tiring. Take loads of photographs to remember the small pockets of happiness in each day and have fun. Baby Showers often make you realise how soon your friend will have her baby make motherhood very real – which may change the dynamics of your friendship for a while. But offer her support when she needs you the most .i.e. post birth. Help out as much as you can and embrace this new chapter in your lives.
