Gender Reveal Cake

Is it a girl or is it a boy!? Everyone wants to know! Looking for a clever and unique way to share the news? Why not make your very own gender reveal cake! This delightful cake is as exciting as it is scrumptious! Everyone will gather round as you slice into this cake to reveal that special surprise! Make sure you have a lot of plates ready!

Ingredients :

• 2 boxes of cake mix (Betty Crocker or similar)
• Pink or Blue candy
• White Frosting
• Multi Coloured sprinkles

How to make :

• Each box makes two cakes. Follow the directions written on the back of the box and whip up four cakes that are the exact same.
• Leave to cool.
• Cut the centre piece out of two of the cakes. Make sure that it is 2 – 3” in diameter.
• Ice one of the uncut cakes with frosting.
• Place one the cakes with a hole on top and ice that too.
• Place the other cake with a hole on top of that and ice again.
• Fill the hole with coloured candy of your choice.
• Place the final uncut cake on the top and ice all over.
• Finish by Sprinkling the sides with multicoloured sprinkles.
• Top off with some piped frosting!

Pop this glorious cake on a cake display and use as the centre piece on your table of treats. During the party, ask your guests to gather around.
