Guestbook

Planning a baby shower soon? A nice idea would be to create a Guestbook for each guest to sign. You can purchase an empty guest book or simply make one yourself with our tips below. What a thoughtful keepsake that the mum-to-be can cherish forever.

You can pick up a nice guestbook in most stores such as Eason or Debenhams. Decorate one small table in the area to place the book on. A nice white table cloth and flowers would look fab. Don’t forget some pens so each guest can write their name and a message to the expecting mother. However, if you want to be more creative you can create your own. This can done using a scrapbook, que cards or even a children’s book.

Scrapbook

This book can be created by simply picking up a scrapbook in your local craft shop and laying it out for guests to write in. Guests should fill up one page each with their name, advice, funny memories and cute messages. Why not draw a picture or stick a photo inside? Encourage them to fill up the entire book and make her feel extra special.

Que Cards

Que cards are a great idea to create a collage afterwards. Lay out several cards and pens on the table so each guest can take one and write their message. Place an empty box on the table to keep the cards safe. A nice idea would be to compile these cards into a framed collage for the new mum. Add some pictures of the group on this collage also for a cute finishing touch.

Children’s book

This is such a unique and cute idea. Using a children’s book is very fitting for the baby shower guest book. Pick a book that has blank white pages between each page of writing. This is where guests can write their messages and names. Of course this book can be given to the new arrival, provided all the messages are PG 😉

So if you are planning a baby shower for yourself or a loved one, don’t forget the guestbook. A small detail that can mean a lot.
