Time For A Cool Mermaid Themed Baby Shower

Summer has arrived, and the sunshine is glorious. 🙂 Mummy To Be is probably feeling uncomfortably warm by now, and may not have the time to get the sea to cool down. So, why not bring the sea to her? We recommend a fresh mermaid themed baby shower theme. Hey, maybe Ariel can join in too! Wouldn’t any little one who loves Ariel adore a Mummy who has these kind of friends. We can imagine the requests for an Ariel themed birthday party after seeing images of this baby shower. For this theme, just think in cool colours-blues, purples, light greens and add some pink if you fancy. 🙂

Decorative Ideas

For the decoration element of the baby shower, fabric can be a lovely way to introduce texture and colour. Draping it loosely around the wall or table can provide the aesthetics of waves. And if any of the guests have a child, ask them if you could borrow an Ariel doll/teddy for decor purposes too. Maybe they’ll share. 😉 We also recommend that if any of the guests are going to the beach someday, ask them to bring back lots of shells and stones from the beach. You can find ornamental sea creatures decorations in plenty of local shops also. Add these to your repertoire. 🙂

Maybe a movie showing of Ariel is on the cards also, while being wrapped up in your mermaid blankets. A perfect night, we reckon.
