The Baby Sock Bunting Idea

Every baby shower needs some sweet decorations to remind Mummy To Be and everyone else of what’s to come. We think that the baby sock bunting idea is the perfect way to do that. A gorgeous symbolism for the journey ahead too. And when they go missing as they inevitably will, Mummy To Be will have plenty to spare. 😉 We can all agree that children and socks do not go together. The question that every Mummy will ask their child-how did you lose your socks AGAIN? 😉 We think that our Baby Clothes decorations range would coordinate beautifully with this idea too. Washing Line

We think it would be a lovely idea if you can ask all of your guests to buy some socks as gifts for the Mummy To Be, and if the baby shower is being held in someone else’s house, then take some time to hang them on a washing line, outside or inside. Very much weather dependent too, especially here in Ireland. As an activity during the baby shower then, give all of the guests some socks, along with some fabric paint and a paint brush, then use their materials to write notes on the soles of the feet, or practise their general art skills. Once everyone is done, hang them up to dry. You can of course do all of this before the baby shower, if you have another activity planned already. Or instead of using normal washing line, you could, of course, use any colour string you like. Don’t forget the pegs though! 😉 All that washing…it just never ends, does it.

A very cute idea which is easy to implement. And Mummy To Be can never have enough socks, especially when they keep getting lost! 🙂 We love our Fairy Cake Socks for those moments when Mummy To Be needs more socks.
